This is not possible.
Unless you find a way (using 3rd-party software and tools) to make the video stream to appear as a regular live TV channel, coming from a HDHomerun tuner device in your network.
You then could set up a second TV tuner device in Plex and operate it like a regular tv tuner.

I have not seen a HDhomerun with analogue inputs, have you?
how about a AV capture card that Plex could detect, any possibilities there?
Where do you even still get analogue video?
Haven’t those stations been shut down 10 years ago all around the world?
possibly I am using the incorrect terminology, it is a AV feed coming out of a PVR via red\yellow\white RCA cables, not using HDMI.
is that an analogue feed?
No. It wasn’t meant like that.
There might be a way to emulate a HDR completely in software.
This is a complex setup and definitely requires some tinkering.
If search these forums, you might be able to find details.
thanks for the clarification, looks like a medium to long term project, the Slingbox servers are supposed to run for at least 2 years.
hopefully another placeshift solution will appear by then.
