Ava (2020) not showing up on plex. Anyone else having issues with this movie?
Go check Onward (2020). Thereās a matching problem with Ava (2020) right now.
Onward 2020 shows correctly on my plex server. Only issue I am having is the Ava 2020. Thanks. Glad to see others are reporting their findings.
Iām suggesting you check Onward (2020) to see if the file for Ava (2020) is now appearing as a duplicate file on that movie.
Sorry i didnt understand what you meant. Yes Onward shows as a duplicate, i unmatched the file choose a different data base and the file has disappeared no more duplicate but plex isnt finding a new unidentified movie either. Wondering how many other movies have been missed.
Removing the movie from the server and adding it back after fixing the matching problems worked . Only issue is plex doesnt recognize it as a recently added movie . Wtf maybe there needs to be some update to the meta scraper .
Same for me, but fixed.
Thanks
I believe the issue maybe with Library Certification Country and Release date.
September 25 is a month into the future in the US
I posted a way to modify the āadded_atā field in that thread that I linked above.
Hereās to hoping we make it all the way to September 25!
I havenāt noticed problems caused by Release dates being in the future, but admittedly havenāt tested that with the new agent.
Whereās Marty McFly when you need him
Truly appreciate the answer @Vicomte777. It fixed my issue with Ava as well. Thanks!
Did anyone ever figure out exactly why this is happening?
The following URL, with the name Ava and year 2020 returns Onward as the top result for some crazy reason.
http://127.0.0.1:32400/system/agents/search?mediaType=1&id=&identifier=com.plexapp.agents.imdb&duration=&filename=&lang=en&openSubtitlesHash=&plexHash=&name=Ava&year=2020
Here is the result of going to that URL on my plex machine:
<MediaContainer noHistory="0" replaceParent="0" size="9" identifier="com.plexapp.system">
<SearchResult lang="en" score="85" year="2020" guid="com.plexapp.agents.imdb://tt7146812?lang=en" name="Onward"/>
<SearchResult lang="en" score="85" year="2020" guid="com.plexapp.agents.imdb://tt8784956?lang=en" name="Ava"/>
<SearchResult lang="en" score="63" year="2020" guid="com.plexapp.agents.imdb://tt10782876?lang=en" name="Swimming for Gold"/>
<SearchResult lang="en" score="62" year="2019" guid="com.plexapp.agents.imdb://tt4426464?lang=en" name="Arctic Dogs"/>
<SearchResult lang="en" score="60" year="2019" guid="com.plexapp.agents.imdb://tt8664988?lang=en" name="The Blackout"/>
<SearchResult lang="en" score="48" year="2019" guid="com.plexapp.agents.imdb://tt9431144?lang=en" name="Family Pictures"/>
<SearchResult lang="en" score="45" year="2020" guid="com.plexapp.agents.imdb://tt11531530?lang=en" name="Varane Avashyamund"/>
<SearchResult lang="en" score="37.0" year="1969" guid="com.plexapp.agents.imdb://tt0064651?lang=en" name="Me, Natalie"/>
<SearchResult lang="en" score="31" year="2019" guid="com.plexapp.agents.imdb://tt10157352?lang=en" name="Song Sparrow"/>
</MediaContainer>
Further research. The French title for Onward is āEn avantā. I think this has something to do with it. Searching for Ava is returning En avant, which is Onward in the US.
Someone from Plex would need to look into this to see why the French title is beating out the english title, when the language is set to EN in the search parameters of the URL.
Thatās funny, I had exactly that theory in the shower and was going to look for bidirectional language translation matches. Thumbs up.
Somebody from Plex did say they would be looking.
Thank you, I just want to change point 4 and 5.
4. Click on the three dots -> Fix match -> select ava 2020.
this way all info gets updated.
