Can I remove the 2 highlighted sections from my Home Screen? I haven’t been able to find where it’s coming from, especially the Apple TV one since my account isn’t linked to Apple TV services. It once was but I just recently checked and all my services are unchecked so not sure where it’s coming from.
It’s not harming anyone, just like my Home Screen to be what I want it to be.
If you have the “Discover” screen pinned to the left-hand menu, then these entries appear in the “Home” menu where Discover was pinned. So if Discover is at the top of your left-hand list, its associated “recommendations” appear at the top as well. Unlike with your personal libraries, you do not have the ability to customize WHICH recommendations appear in this Discover section. If you don’t need Discover at the top, you can move it further down in your left-hand list so it won’t be in your face (Trending Trailers will move as well, if you liked that).
As for the Trending on AppleTV, I believe that might be showing up if you have AppleTV in your “Streaming Services” menu. Check to see if it is enabled here:
thanks and that’s what I thought. Honestly I just want to get rid of the Apple TV one, it would be nice if Trailers was first but that’s fine too. The Apple TV one though makes no sense, it’s not checked off. I have 0 services checked off because I don’t like aggregating from them as I only rarely use the services.
Bummer. For me, the two sections on either side of “Trailers” show “Available on Your Services” (like you) and “Trending on your services”. I assumed that mine says “your services” is because I have multiple services checked. Perhaps it just picks whatever service is currently paying Plex for promotion, if you have nothing checked…
Interestingly, currently, Discover is throwing ZERO sections. It skips straight over where the Discover sections should be and goes on to the next item, my DVR. I had it earlier when I went to look for you.
bumping this in hopes to gain some traction. Essentially I have 0 services selected yet I still get movies that show in this field. How do I disable it?
