'Back' arrow is missing

Server Version#: 1.15.6.1079
Player Version#: 3.100.1

The back arrow is missing from Plex Web on the computer version but not on my iPhone in Safari.

I’ve tried it in Google Chrome as well as Microsoft Edge.

It is no longer needed. Plus your browser should have such a button anyway.
Most mice today have also a history back button.

Are you talking about the old UI or the new experimental UNO UI?

Please provide a screenshot which shows the situation on screen when you are missing the arrow.

I was referring to the new UNO interface on Chrome to be specific but also on Edge.

I’m using a laptop so there is no mouse with a back button. Also, I have it saved as a web page with out the menu buttons therefore use that included button.

If that is indeed the reason you removed it, is there a reason its still on Safari?

I’ve included screenshots from both Chrome on my laptop and Safari on my iphone.

Thanks.

This is a huge assumption. Not everyone is sitting at a desktop with a mouse.

Why don’t you use the regular ‘back’ button of your browser’s user interface?

The back button on my browser takes me physically back a page, which is not at all the same as what the old back arrow did. Pressing the back arrow on the old interface would generally raise me up one “subdirectory” the way I used it, and I didn’t realize how much I was dependent on it until it went missing in the preview. When navigating into a show I could pop into a season/episode, make an edit, back arrow, and continue/repeat. Because the new UI is beholden to variable length show/episode titles up top for the same functionality, clicking to do the same thing feels less consistent.

Another change for no apparent reason, just like removing the volume slider from the iOS app.

Why do they keep making things harder to use and not easier? Makes no sense at all.

At least you can turn off the preview. Just hope they add it back before the update becomes permanent.

Gotta say I’m glad there are others who feel the same way about this. I thought I was the only one.

I stand corrected- it looks like the browser-based back button now works on account of pages actually changing when moving between directories. I don’t know why it was misbehaving earlier, but after a browser restart it’s working exactly as I’d like it to on the new interface.
