Regression in PMP UNO interface: missing button to switch back to desktop mode

There is a regression in the new UNO interface in PMP. The button to toggle back to desktop mode is missing. The only way that I can find to switch back to desktop mode is to go into the settings to disable “Preview the new Plex experience” in order to go back to the previous UI which has the button.

God I’m so glad I’m not the only one!

Also missing in the web view mode is the option to “emptry trash” on all libraries at once.

They are in the “ellipsis menu” of the server when you dive down into ‘More’.

So…was this a planned feature? Or will the button to toggle back to desktop mode going to show up after beta?

It’s not ideal, but at least I found a way back to DT mode:

  1. Go into the settings from the UNO UI
  2. Disable the preview experience
  3. You’re back in the old TV UI now, and the DT mode button should be back

Maybe the Plex developers just kinda forgot that we need a button to get to DT mode :slight_smile:
