Back button functionality while browsing

Is it the intended behaviour that pressing either the back arrow on the top left of the screen while browsing seasons of a series, or back on the phone, sends one back to the main library rather than up one level to the season list? This was the recently fixed on Roku when the same behaviour was happening. I’m confused as to why it still happens on android. Latest version.

What’s the actual version number you’re on? I’m on version 2025.31.1 on an Android tablet. The behavior I experience is:

  • If I’m viewing a season and I tap the top-left back arrow, I’m taken to the top-level library listing of all shows.
  • If I’m viewing a season and I tap the tablet’s native back button, I’m taken back up one level; in this case to the show-level season listing.

These versions are evolving pretty quickly; specific version information would be useful.

The behaviour you describe with the top left button is what happens with both that and the native phone back button. It’s extremely frustrating.
