I’m looking for a hint on how to achieve something on my local network like it is on plex.tv
Currently on plex.tv the page is looking like this:
On my local network I’m seeing the following:
Obviously the plex.tv looks way better and I don’t know what setting to change to have the same layout on my local network.

You just need to wait until the newer software version of the hosted web app is bundled with a new release of Plex Server.
Or simply load the web app from app.plex.tv
It shouldn’t make a difference at all. In fact it is recommended to use the ‘hosted’ web app at all times, except maybe when debugging things.
Ok, I read a bit about the hosted web app and if I’m accessing it on my local network it stays within my network so I have no reason to use my IP.
I’ll switch to using the plex.tv url from now on.
