Hello - Plex seems to have developed a bug on the Web version, locally hosted. Works fine on ROKU and web, but not if web access via local IP address.
I can see two versions of the service. Non ov the library links work and I keen going to the “No soup” screen. I am a Plex Pass user, never had this issue before.
Apparently, you have a misconception about how this is working:
Loading the web app into your browser is one thing.
Accessing your server with this web app afterwards is another thing.
Both versions of the web app are working exactly the same, in regards to how the data are flowing from your server to your browser.
The hosted version is just a bit newer and contains a fix for the above issue.
Thank you for comments. I can see the hosted one works. But I do agree that this defeats the object when watching within my network (which is what I do 90% of the time).
I am having the same problem, I am getting no soup for you, servers keep going off line, this is with the latest version. It never did it before in all the years I have been using plex.
If it were fixed I would not be having the issue !
I would just like to add that this is intermittent, and I can’t seem to fix it my end so was wondering if it to do with the plex system server.
I have been getting the no soup issue lately (think after the last server update). I have to delete my cache each time (using chrome), and then it will work fine until I exit again.
