As long as I have used Plex for my Xbox One, I have never been able to use it for music; due to the lack of support for background play, you have to keep the app open the entire time in order to listen to anything.
I believe that if background play support were added to Xbox One, more people would use the app more often and potentially give it more support. This is the only feature I’ve wanted for a long time, and I’m sure I’m not alone.
