Backing Up Plex

I regularly backup my NAS with Hyper Backup, so my media library is secured. But as I’ve made some configuration changes (mostly with my videos - grouping videos, changing metadata, etc. within Plex), those are not backed up under my present methodology.

Based on my research (Synology contact and web searching), it appears that I just need to backup Preferences.xml, and if my system crashed and it needed to be restored, I simply move the backed up Preferences.xml:

Is that correct? BTW, Preferences.xml is 1KB in size.

No. Preferences.xlm is basically the config file of your server with information like machine identifiers, the server’s friendly namd and what account it’s linked to.
As an example… the database is in Plug-in Support, much of the posters/artwork/… are stored in Metadata.
