Backup and Transfer of Plex Metadata (MacOS Server)

Hello,
My Plex server is installed on a Mac mini and the media files are on a NAS.
I’m backing up the contents of my main NAS (NAS-1) to a second NAS (NAS-2).
I installed a second server on another Mac Mini (Mac-2) connected to the media on the NAS-2.
So I have two servers running in parallel (in case one of the two Macs fails).
On the main Mac-1 server, I made numerous changes to the metadata provided by Plex (mostly erroneous associations).
I would like to transfer these metadata changes to the Mac-2. I tried to copy the “Plex Media Server” folder (Library/Application Support) from Mac-1 to Mac-2, but the Mac-2 server then points to the media on the NAS-1.
As soon as I correct the library folder, the server performs a new scan, and my changes are lost.
What can I do to get around this?
Thanks in advance!

Plex doesn’t have an option to sync metadata (changes) across multiple servers.

Hello,
Thank you for this reply. I understood that Plex couldn’t synchronize metadata between two servers, but I thought I could manually transfer them monthly, for example, by copying certain files from one Mac to another. It all depends on how Plex identifies the media: If it’s just by name (xyz.mkv), it doesn’t change from one server to another, and the changes could be transferred (as long as the files containing them are identified). However, if Plex identifies the media by including the path (NAS-1/films/xyz.mkv), it no longer works on NAS-2. Do you have any knowledge on this subject?
Have a nice day.
