Backup of media information before re-install?

Basically I have a very old version of PMS (1.25.8) running and it refuses to update to any newer version. I’d like to do a full uninstall / reinstall but don’t want to lose my library settings, playlists, collections, artwork, etc.

Is there a way of backing up this information and then re-implementing it once I have done the PMS re-install?

I have searched around but not been able to find a definite answer; apologies if I have missed this!

I’d start with repairing the database and then re-try to update.
A failing database migration due to a damaged database file is the most common source of unsuccessful server upgrades.
