Hello, I’m not sure if I’m posting this in the right place. I have a question about backing up Plex. Mostly backing up all the work I’ve done on creating collections.
uncheck empty trash after every scan
Back up your registry entry for plex
compress and back up your Plex media server folder in app data
once you get to your new pc
call it the same as before
unpack the app data folder in the same location u found it
install plex but don’t launch it
merge your plex registries entry
launch plex
plex wouldn’t know you’ve changed machine
note make sure that all your drive letter match the old ones
