BAD BAD BAD Plex Updates

Why are your software updates not tested EXTENSIVELY before being released?? Isn’t that protocol for every software company?
I understand that humans make coding mistake but common man every update has some kind of problem. Either you broke something or took out an important feature. How many times have I updated and it screwed up my server made it stop working or crashed windows or my player stop playing a particular format such as 4k videos. it worked before then suddenly after an update it’s broken. Downloaded a downgrade VERSION AND BAM! it worked AGAIN!! . That proves that your updates are NO GOOD! I HAVE SPENT COUNTLESS HOURS REDOING MY SERVER OR FIXING what you guys broke that should have never been released in the first place. SHAME ON YOU GUYS! BETTER CHECK YOUR PROGRAMMERS! THEY EITHER HATE THEIR JOBS OR BAD AT IT.

Please STOP RELEASING SOFTWARE UPDATES THAT INTRODUCES MORE PROBLEM. My advise to everyone avoid their updates at all cost.

Or you could maybe post a constructive post, along with letting people see log files and describing your issues

Plex cannot possibly test every release on every possible system config out there - we need to know more about your setup to be able to advise

Pre-existing database corruptions could also manifest themselves in failures after updates and appear to be update issues
This would arise when the update needs to change the database structure for new functionality. The pre-existing corruptions may have had limited impact before the update.

It is not possible to say what the issue is without logs

If you do have logs of the failures after the update, please post them
