Bad quality with Fotos on Plex

Player Version#: Browser Safari / Chrome
Hardware: Drobo 810N

Looking photos over Plex Server is no fun. Although the photos are of the best quality, the slideshow over Plex is of very poor resolution. Is there a setting to improve this. I have not found a possibility.
