It should be pulling something if it’s a new movie file even if it’s not matching. It should show up with just no meta data pulled for it.
Try flipping your filters on the movie library to “unmatched” and see if it comes up there; also try “duplicates” to see if it matched to a different movie.
Renaming can work too but you might need to try the Plex Dance in that case.
