When going to the Dashboard, everything hangs while it tries to load the “Real Time” graph of bandwidth. This is the only area where it hangs or crashes.
When I try to click on something else while this graph is loading or running in real time, the entire interface is sluggish or non-responsive. It won’t highlight menu items or display drop downs for very long periods of time. It’s so bad, my Firefox browser asks to stop the process or wait for it to finish.
If I wait it out and change the bandwidth graph to something other than real time, all of the sluggishness instantly disappears.
Is there something wrong with the Bandwidth graph where it is expending too many resources to generate the graph in real time? Also, is there any way to change the default setting of the graph to something other than real time so I can use the rest of the Dashboard?
Thank you for your time.
Josh
PLEX Version 1.14.1.5488
DSM 6.2.1-23824 Update 4
Synology Model DS1815+
Trumpy81, I went to the downloads section for Plex, while signed in, and the version you are stating is not available for download. As you can see in the screen capture, the Plex Pass button is on.
When selecting “Choose Package” it only offers me different versions for Intel or ARM.
Even within Plex if I click the Check for Update button, Plex itself states it is up to date.
If you could please provide step by step directions or a web link on how to find this updated version, I would greatly appreciate it. It appears that Plex doesn’t want people to find it easily.
However, if the package is a beta or alpha version, I am not interested. I am only interested in the most current stable releases.
