Dashboard Bandwidth is not showing

Server Version#: FreeBSD 12.1-RELEASE-p10
Player Version#: Version 4.34.4

My freebsd server is dedicated to plex. I have had amazingly Super results because of this. Unfortunately I do not get any graph about my bandwidth usage. How does plex poll for that information? I’m attempting to see if it is an OS issue or an application (Plex) issue.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Bandwidth graphs work for me on Plex in a FreeBSD 12.1-RELEASE-p9 jail (on a recent TrueNAS FreeBSD 12.2-PRERELEASE nightly snapshot … which sounds like it would be dodgy, but has been perfectly reliable).

Bandwidth has also worked for me on real FreeBSD boxes as far back as 11. and in all sorts of jails.

Amusingly RAM and CPU work too, but the support page claims they don’t.

One common cause of broken dashboard graphs is out-of-sync clocks. Verify the clocks on your web browser client and on the server match.

I will check the sync between the clocks and report back. Thanks for the insight!

The hourly and other tabulated amounts of bandwidth displays perfectly it’s just the ‘real time’ does not work. Thanks again!

You were 100% correct. I checked the time and it was off by about 10min…I then made sure that ntp was activated so I don’t have this issue again. Whew!!

Thanks again!!!
