I know there is supposed to be a fix where you change the real time setting on the dashboard, but this resets every time you back out. Can you edit the dashboard so that bandwidth option is not even there? It is a great feature, but it doesn’t work if its going to crash the browser every time.
No matter what browser I use, on any OS, when I go to https://app.plex.tv/desktop# and then go to dashboard it will freeze and crash the page because of the real time bandwidth situation. So, the question I have is can I disable the bandwidth feature of the dashboard?
The fix for this issue requires to update the server as well, to the current beta AFAIK.
Thank you both for your replies.
@OttoKerner - When I click on the check for updates button I get the “Up To Date” message and I am currently on Version 1.14.1.5488. Is there another way to update that I am not aware of?
@trumpy81 - The “real time” bandwidth feature in the dashboard is what I am referring to. I would like to be able to customize my dashboard, so that either the entire bandwidth feature does not come up or I can have the setting auto set to a specific time period. The browser only crashes when its on “Real Time”, but I can’t get that to change if its automatically coming up to “Real Time” every time I go to the dashboard.
To get Beta versions, you must actively opt-in to the Beta ‘Update Channel’.
Settings - Server - General - ‘Show Advanced’ - “Server update Channel” = ‘Beta’
or download the version manually from https://www.plex.tv/media-server-downloads/
(make sure to switch ON the ‘Plex Pass Downloads’)
