Hey Plex Community,
i got an Plex (OMV Docker) Server for some months without any bandwidth issues, since now. Last week i upgrade my internet to an 40mbps upload. Before i got an 10mbps upload, so i streamed my content remotely with 8mpbs, without buffering or other issues.
Obviously i want to get a higher upload, to stream movies with like 30mbps over remote. But there is the issue…all movies higher ~10mbps will start buffering every 20-30 seconds.
I had a look into my Fritz!Box and observed the upload over time, it wont get over the 10-15mbps. Its like there is an bandwidth lock (i dont got an Plex Pass). Fritz!Box and speedtest measures around 35mpbs upload, and i tested streaming to Restream (with obs) with an 25mpbs bitrate, this works fine and will be displayed in my Fritz!Box. I also tried normal uploads and ftp uploads, all can use the full bandwith of around 35mpbs.
Inside my local network i can stream any bitrate directly.
Anyone else got this issue?
