Downloading on plex is so screwed up it’s almost like it was done on purpose and it’s been this janky for at least the past 2.5yrs. I don’t understand how basic functionality can be this broken. Now it’s trying to download an entire series because new drop down menus were incorporated, none of which were to download the single episode, and clicking on the downloads section only throws an error where you can’t cancel it. I’ve even deleted the app, downloaded the latest, and reinstalled. It’s still trying to download the entire season.
I truly hope this company doesn’t wonder why it’s in financial hardship, laying off staff, and looking at closing their doors. You’ve wasted YEARS avoiding basic functionality so you could focus on features no one asked for. How can you create an app like this for the purpose it’s supposed to have been created for, charge for it, and NOT have the one ultimate basic function working after years?!
