Galaxy S10E. Even after uninstall and reinstall once I use the app once it then forever drains battery.
Force quit is literally just ignored by the OS. App has been running all day as active. Sync is off. Turned off all network discovery and still can’t force quit.plex-log-kiernan@gmail.com.zip (303.2 KB)
Same problem here. Battery is draining at 15%/hour. It used to be 2%/hour. It’s a Pocophone F1 with LineageOS based on Android 9. Plex Version is 7.30.0.16390.
BetterBatteryStats reports 85% Partial Wakelocks by com.plexapp.android.Plex (AudioMix).
Any news here? This is still a big issue, clearing cache, force stop and restart helps sometimes but the background drain is back as soon as I have started Plex once. LG G7, Android 9.
I am seeing between 10% and 17% battery use from Plex even when it’s not open or running. 11% of battery use overnight, not open, not running in background.
Yesterday, not opened at all, 17% battery use between 9am and 1pm.
