Whats the best player for plex?
I want to play videos in Original version.
I mean direkt play only.
incluse 4k videos. resolution 3840x2160p
supports HDMI 2.0
(Is this HEVC/x265?) I’ve heard good things about the Nvidia Shield. It wasn’t rock solid from start but it has really matured. If that doesn’t suite you perhaps getting a NUC with PMP on it would be the next thing to look at. Just remember that PMP is still in “beta” mode and a lot of changes are happening, especially UI-wise.
Hmm i just thinking about nvidia shield. but i dont know it will run plex with 4k and dts sound.

It plays DTS-HD MA fine for the most part (few bugs see thread below). TrueHD is coming at some point. LPCM transcodes to AAC at present (assuming will be fixed at some point)
It might play 4k great but the Plex app for SHIELD has a lot of issues right now. It has the potential to be the best player but it’s not there yet. See below:
