I share my Plex media library with my family who live elsewhere in the UK.
My brother has the Sky Glass TV and according to my Google search, it is not possible to install the Plex app on it due to it being a closed ‘ecosystem’.
I am assuming he can stick a device in a HDMI port instead and install the Plex app on it.
My question is, which device would you recommend? I was simply going to recommend Chromecast which I have but it seems to be discontinued and replaced with Google TV Streamer at a much more expensive price of £99. Is it worth getting that compared to the cheaper alternatives such as an Amazon TV Fire stick or Roku Express?
I wonder if the Alexa feature is useful on the Fire Stick, can you simply tell Alexa to play a certain movie without having to search for it in the menu?
