Just wondering what is the best way to install the new code to stop the an error has occurred appearing at the end of a show. Do i just delete the old program file and install it in the same place?

Just reinstall plexconnect by using git clone or whatever method you used prior. If that doesn’t help you can start your journey here:

Make sure you exit trailers (or what ever your hijacking) before doing the upgrade, then once it’s running again enter back in. If your watching something, that error will always happen as you stopped and restarted plexconnect so it does not remember you were communicating with it
