Hello everyone, I am kinda new to plesk but am currently struggling with organising my music there. I edit the music files locally with foobar and mp3tag but plex seems not to recognize if I changed a tag. For example fixing a typo in an artists name.
What is the best way to have plex recognize it? I am currently deleting the whole library then rescanning it which seems to work but takes forever since my library is on the bigger side >2TB
There must be a way to scan only the changed or am I mistaken.

Method 3) is only necessary if you have changed a tag which would influence the database structure.
Don’t expect changes to the “Artist Sort Order” tag to have any influence after the album artist in question has been created in Plex for the first time. You would have to use method 3 on the artist level, with one server maintenance period inbetween removing and re-adding-
