Can we get an admin comment on the status of this feature request? It would be incredibly simple to add a very basic version of this (a simple public/private toggle on playlists) in the interim while waiting for a full featured implementation, and people have been asking for several years now. Any feedback from the devs would be appreciated.

I would like to see this feature as well, specifically for movies… I have had to create multiple playlists (such as Marvel Cinematic Universe") under each user account and it gets tedious to have add a new movie to the playlist multiple times… This should be a relatively easy feature to add for the Master/Admin account to share playlists (ensuring to take into account a validation for other users to ensure they have access to the same library/category).
I’ve added my “Like”.
I live in a shared house and so I have the Guest user enabled for everyone to use in the lounge. It’s always on so there’s no faffing, but of course it can’t see all the playlists I’ve created, including a Smart Playlist for the films that I alone haven’t watched yet - of course I use the Guest account in the lounge, too, and having access to my unwatched list in there would be sooo great (just easier than switching users bearing in mind it’s using the extended screen mode with a simple remote control).
You don’t need to know any of that LOL. Sufficed to say, a long overdue feature (bearing in mind it was first requested three years ago next month).

I actually want this feature for a whole different reason from most. I go through on TV shows that interweave (Like Arrow and Flash) and build the correct viewing order into a playlist. It would be nice for others to be able to utilize this list. Even if it was an export/import or something.
