Would very much appreciate this feature. Has anyone installed an addon or extension for this?
This would be a GREAT feature to have! I have a small family on my Plex and we would love the ability to have family playlists like a beach list or a car list. I cant believe that this has been here for 5 years and hasn’t been added… Please, don’t make me beg XD
Just adding another voice to the roaring crowd. I too found this when I was looking at how to share a playlist with users. Note, I wasn’t looking to see IF I could share a playlist. The idea that it wasn’t a capability didn’t even occur to me until I saw the years long request line for this piece of functionality.
Please add the ability to share and export playlists!

No answer from Plex about this request is very frustrating … If we can just have few words about why this is not implemented (yet?) would be a first step (to be patient or to be resigned )
Our family is also waiting this feature. For now I’ve been just making a similar playlist for everyone, but it’s a hussle when adding more tracks, have to add multiple times. I hope it’s available some day…
Yeh agreed, come on plex. Cant believe this isnt a feature. Collections is just not the same.

I agree with the OPs edit. Emby has this and a Ton of other user requested features that Plex is missing, without the garbage.

Also, this should not be restricted to just other users, I would expect to be able to share playlists with everyone, including Invited (sharing) users.

Big yikes. I figured this was something I could when I implemented Plex. Now I might be reconsidering for Kodi…
Come on developers please stop releasing new features that nobody is asking for or voting for. This is something we want can you focus on this instead please.

It was more of a snarky reply, but thanks for bringing my attention to the Scripts and indirectly to Tautulli. That looks like it’s worth digging in to.
Just gonna bump for post #400 still can’t believe this is not a thing. Added a new friend to my Plex who just asked if I can share mine instead of having to create their own.
