I wish the “Unsubscribe from all emails” button is actually what it says. Instead, when all items in the list above are un-selected, that button is auto selected. Thus, when a new item is added and auto-opted-in, the “Unsubscribe” button is un-selected.
Wonder if there is a kind of legal action someone could take (GDPR, US Law, etc) to try to force Plex to honor a “do not send me emails, ever, unless I opt-in” button.
Agreed. This is just sneaky and I’m sure someone at plex is just laughing at us crazies who keep complaining about it.
I check this pretty often myself but for others even if they added a comment on the page saying something like, we may add additional eMail notifications in the future so check back regularly to see what’s new and what your subscribed to would be better than this blind enrolment.
More heads up butts. It’s really pathetic there are no repercussions. Someone(s) should have been FIRED a long time ago.

Yet again, plex employees will come to us, lying, saying how we all opted into this just like sharing our viewing history with our users. And yet again plex employees will then use the shared account to tell us how we are all wrong. I fully expect this to happen yet again.
