Hi all, hope anyone can help me. I have a raspberry pi (first version, not the 2) running rasplex 0.4.1. Recently, a black bar has appeared at the bottom (in the footer) of the plex menu, see attached photo. I think it has appeared after an automatic update.
I did calibrate the screen, during calibration the arrow is visible normally at the bottom of the screen. My TV is running 1920x1080 @ 60hz. That's also the setting in the menu. When I activate the confluence skin, the whole screen is being used. Also subtitles are in the right position when playing a movie.
It seems the Plex skin misdetects the resolution or something?
I tried:
- installing clean 0.5.1, same problem occurs
- played around with some settings in config.txt (hdmi_mode=82 etc, disabling overscan)
Didn't work... is this caused by some upgrade, or perhaps a bug in the Plex skin?
Is the tv set @16:10? rather than 16:9? All I can think of.. atm...
I agree that it does look that way.
Something related to aspect ratio settings is definitely involved here, though it could be at either end...
An unsuitable overscan adjustment in RasPlex could have a similar effect. (If so it can be fixed in Preferences > System > Advanced > Video calibration...)
