It seems that this movie has not been uploaded, you get to see the old Black Christmas version from 1974, can this be fixed? I see that last year the exact same problem was already reported, but seems like it was never fixed?
Has anyone already fixed this or what? 
I noticed that I now can’t play this movie at all? So I assume it’s not in the Plex database?
I would advice Plex to remove this movie from its database. Because it falsely claims that Black Christmas (2006) is available on Plex Free.

Funny, I was just about to write that yesterday I still saw the 2006 version of Black Christmas being listed, but it will still play the old version. Will check it out later today.

I poked them about it again. I don’t see the Watch button at app.plex.tv, but do at watch.plex.tv. Is that where you are looking at it?
I’m not sure what you mean with this, but I can see it on my LG smart TV. It’s still being listed as watchable on Plex Free and it still plays the old version. This is of course in the US, in Europe it’s only watchable via the Microsoft Store apparently. Did you also poke them about my other issue with the annoying sound hiccups?

To clarify, in the US (I use a VPN, I’m actually from The Netherlands) both versions are listed. The problem is that both versions play the 1974 movie. So this should be corrected, Plex Free USA doesn’t have the 2006 version in its database, at least not currently, see link.
I was asking what you were looking at, thank you for telling me you are on an LG. Sorry for not being clear. I was mentioning I could not see the watch button on app.plex.tv because that and watch.plex.tv are usually the same data as every app and what I generally check first.
To be clear both the 1974 and the 2006 versions are listed. Both have a watch button, but only the 1974 version should be. We don’t have the 2006 version, and we need to find out why it is linked with the 1974 version. As far as I know we are not getting the 2006 version.
As far as your other topic about playback problems with the free streaming on your LG, there are some semi major backend things that are happening to hopefully improve things but I don’t have an ETA on when that work will be done.
Yes exactly, the 2006 version should not be listed as being playable on Plex Free, this should be corrected. At least this is what I’m seeing on my LG smart tv. I’m not sure if it’s any different on PC’s. And my PC isn’t connected to any VPN, so I haven’t checked this.
Too bad, this should be fixed with priority because I assume all people that use LG smart TV’s are affected by this rather strange bug. I wonder how this is possible in the first place, what’s so different about LG smart TV’s?
I mean, on PC’s this problem doesn’t exist. And isn’t the Plex app the same on all platforms? And even if it isn’t, I assume the streams from the Plex servers are also the same? But perhaps we should discuss this in the other topic.
