Black screen after longer time of inactivity

Hey guys,

I’m running in to a problem where I’m stuck with a black screen after I have left OpenPHT to is self for a while (let’s say a day).
The setup is, that the sever (Debian, Jessie) is running a buch of programs and OpenPHT is launched through a desktop script on boot. Everything works fine until I leave for the day and turn the tv screen of (the server keeps running due to the other programs that I need). When I return and turn the tv back on I’m greeted with a black screen. That I can’t get around. Everything else on the server is still running just fine. If I ssh into the server from another computer I can reboot it. But it will still come up with a black screen. For it to pas the server needs to have been off for some time. Also strangely I’m not seeing any of the usual text and signs at boot up, when the problem is present. Also If I try to refresh the screen I get the error message that there is no display 0.
Maybe you have some ideas.

Any chance it’s an HDMI handshake issue? Plex freezing up after the TV being off for a while can occur in some scenarios, like: https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/comment/1146039#Comment_1146039

Not sure, might have been. I ended up messing quite a lot up and had to reinstall both openPHT and gnome. But now it has worked for two days.
