I’m not sure but I think this black screen stuff is part of the same issue that’s been discussed over here for ages. I just started getting the black screen, but the direct play/stream has been ongoing:
Hello everyone, I also rolled back the server version to 1.25. Today I tried to install the newest version 1.27 has not yet been fixed. Below in the photo of the reason why the video stops playing, one of the reasons is the .ass format subtitles. (If the server version is higher than 1.25.5) Also, if you disable the two items in photo 1, you can watch all the movies that hang because of the bitrate size or long time. The comparable quality will be the same as when transcoding.

This is exactly what I also noticed on my PS5. And changing the server version to 1.25.5 seems to have fixed all my buffering problems!
