I started experiencing the same issue, which I will outline:
- Mac Pro 2013, MacOS Big Sur 11.6.5, daily Mac Desktop Plex App user
- Media server is up to date
- Computer restarted several times
- Web app works as expected, as does iOS apps
- Mac Desktop App, just today, launches, shows logo, fades to black, nothing further
- Only significant change to this computer in the last week was a batch of Adobe Creative Cloud updates that were pushed and installed earlier today.
