Blank screen when I go back

ATV2, runnig Apple TV Software v5.2

 

I've been using PlexConnect for a while now (probably about 1.5 years now). I want to upgrade, but the most recent versions (I've tried a few times over the last few weeks) show a blank black screen whenever I go back. So I can go forward in to the "Shared Libraries" hierarchy as much as I want and play videos, but if I try to go back in the menu it just shows a blank screen. If I play a video and go back it works. If on the blank screen I press select, it goes back in to whichever menu I was in before and draws properly. So, it's as if the menu is there, but it doesn't draw for some reason.

I currently use iOS 5.3 on all my aTV2’s using a modified method based on baa’s original method in the aTV2 launchctl method. I don’t not have this issue whatsoever that you are describing. When you restore your aTV are you doing it in DFU mode? Here is the link to the modified method I use:

The only other errors I can think of is your PMS is corrupt (or bad settings) or your network.

BTW, the going back issue is resolved since updating to 5.3, but as I mentioned in the other thread now I'm having the connection problem.
