Hi. I bought the lifetime plex pass. I see it in my account but for example in this forum under tips and tricks is a section “[HowTo] Configure Plex to use embedded metadata (music)” when I follow this I don’t have the Plex premium music settings option that I presume I should have. Unless I have the Plex pass benefits confused. What am I missing? Thanks.
You need to shut down your server,
wait a minute
then start it up again.
Wait again a few minutes.
The full premium music features are only available when you create a special Premium music library.
You cannot convert your existing music library.

Thanks for the explanation. So once I add my whole music library to premium is it safe to delete the standard music library?
You can do that, but I recommend you to hang on to the old library for several weeks. Just in case you want to go back, because the premium library can be tricky sometimes.
