Boxing Matches?
I am thinking of contributing a lot of Metadata for my large boxing library. I was just curious on everyone's thoughts on where would be the best place to contribute that information? Is thetvdb.com going to be my best bet or should I go the route of Wikipedia? Also, any suggestions on naming conventions? I was thinking about grouping fights by Network, Fighters involved, and by Absolute date with the year included. Any suggestions or pointers in another direction would be helpful. Also, if this already exist I would be more than happy to just add to what someone has already created.
How about Freebase? They already have categories set up for fighters, and they already have meta data for movies and tv shows, so I’d expect adding meta data about fight broadcasts should be doable. Also, they, or their forums, may be able to provide suggestions on how to best set up the data model.
