Brand new NAS. How to transfer PMS from my old one?

Hi guys.
I just bought a new NAS (Asustor Nimbustor 4 AS5404T)
I had my old one (Asustor AS6104T) for almost 10 years now.
It goes without saying that I got quite a lot of content on it

I tried to search for how to migrate, but did not find anything recent for Asustore.

I will of course copy all my media and my PMS files to the new NAS.
But before that, on my old NAS, do I need to remove the claim on the PMS? Or is it enough to log out of it?

Would really appreciate if someone could point me to a “TO DO” list, or write a short “how to” list.

Thank you, and have a great weekend.

I followed this tutorial by Plex and it worked perfectly (Synology DS214 to DS224+).

Thank you. I’ll try it…
Another question. I now have 1 volume. I intend to use a internal SSD as volume 2, and store plex there…
Anybody know if it’s possible? I want to keep my plex library as is…
Will I get a million conflicts?

I don’t think so.
If you follow the tutorial, you have the choice of where your medias are. In my case there where in a different folder and no problem.

Thanx for your reply…
Sounds excellent
Waiting for my NAS to arrive

Will let you know how it went later this week.

I had a little plunder at first with yellow exclamation marks, but after allowing my AppleTv in the Asustore firewall, it went smooth.

Thank you for the link.
Take care,
