I dont want your new interface, or features. The Plex on Roku is a terrible mess. Why shove crap down my throat I DO NOT WANT or NEED… Why must I be connected to to the internet to access content wholly locally hosted. WTF this is terrible
You don’T need to be connected to internet…
Just set your ip in the setting to access directly …
It’s not going to work anyways after the next Roku firmware update from my understanding. They are enforcing some of the Developer Rules on private channels now.
thanks that is useful. though on initial launch it would not let me past the opening screens until I linked on line or logged into my acct.
My roku is blocked from updates, so no … just en excuse for Plex to force me into things I DO NOT WANT.

Correct, on PlexRetro simply point it to the ip or host name of the
local server.
The local server is configured not to require auth on local subnet
so … no internet required.
Now I have no faith that this nonsense will work without internet access.
