Broken arm support on the new app

Hello,
I am a Plex user using a QNAP T121 (arm based). I have spent a lot of time setting up my library it was working quite well with my xbox one. Late last year Plex updated their app on the xbox one and broke compatibility with my QNAP NAS. This new version of the xbox one app recently released, does it fix the compatibility with older NAS units? I know I can’t be alone in this request the app was working fine I don’t understand the locking out of users with an app update?

Hi there. Unfortunately the Xbox One app requires a minimum Plex Media Server of 1.5.0 in order to run. This wasn’t a decision to intentionally exclude users running server versions below, it’s due to API requirements the app needs to function that are only present in Plex Media Server versions past 1.5.0. I can assure you the decision wasn’t taken lightly.

Thank you for answering my question. I have a follow up, I am a plex lifetime subscriber and paid the fee $. Since that wont be the case any longer (my intention was to view my collection with the equipment that I bought QNAP NAS and xbox one) how do I go about getting refunded for the lifetime subscription fee?
