New “Server Dashboard” does not respect your Library’s “Include in Dashboard” setting.
To replicate:
Navigate to /settings/server/manage/libraries/edit/advanced
Uncheck the option, “Include in dashboard”.
View your dashboard at: /settings/server/status/server-dashboard
Notice that items from the Library you just specified “Do not include in dashboard” are present in your charts.
I realize the “Include in dashboard” verbage was introduced long before this cool new feature, but the new Server Dashboard should respect this global library setting.
I think your Plex server should still record usage data, in case you ever want to include this library again in the future.
Changing the wording is appropriate now that you have two distinct dashboards. However, I think there needs to be an option to exclude entire libraries from the server dashboard as well.
Don’t need the pron and mobile uploads taking up space on the recent charts!
It also applies to On Deck and Continue Watching. I can’t say for sure, but if you disable “include in Dashboard” it is applied sort of retroactively to all of the so-called hubs on your home or start page.
Hmmm… I’m pretty sure the only person who can see anything on the new Dashboard (Now, playing, etc) is the server admin. You might want to make sure that only appropriate people are watching your pron, so I don’t see why you would want that disabled
As far as i can tell, disabling “include in dashboard” removes everything related to the library (continue watching, recent uploads, etc) so it doesn’t appear on the home page. I can turn them on and off at a whim, and it works every time.
