Also, checked on Plex Web 4.69.1. These links are still working correctly on this version. (See update below)
Update 1: Same broken behaviour for all TV series libraries, but Movie libraries working correctly.
Update 2: Now the same broken behaviour has been introduced to local Plex Web 4.76.1 installed with server update to 1.25.9.5721
True. If you want to track this, keep an eye on updates of Plex Web. A fix will only show in Plex for Windows after it’s been fixed in Plex Web and that version of Plex Web finds its way into the Plex for Windows app.
Based on the release announcements for Plex for Windows, the bundled version of Plex Web is currently version 4.71.0 and was updated in the app as part of release 1.39.0 in December 2021.
Tried doing these steps, as someone marked that as a solution in anotherthread, but to no avail.
I also tried wiping my entire Plex database, and rescanned the entire thing. Took like 24 hours. Still same thing happening. I can access the “Recently Added in TV” from my “Home”, but not if I go into the TV library. This goes for both my TV libraries.
This issue/bug happens in:
Plex for Windows, Version 1.44.0.2981-e2d72ac2
Plex Web, Version 4.80.0
But apparently works fine in:
Plex for Android, Version 9.1.0.32210 (794776f6)
Also tried Plex HTPC, but I couldn’t figure out how to access the “Recently Added in TV”.
The other thread you linked in your post is completely unrelated. The issue in this thread (here) is specific to Plex Web which is also the user interface when using the Plex for Mac/Windows desktop client.
Ah, I see it’s entire library/libraries missing in their case. Well it couldn’t hurt trying to reset my customization anyways lol.
And I guess it also couldn’t hurt rebuilding the PMS database from scratch. A bit sad there’s nothing to do about it, but oh well . Guess we’ll have to be patient for a fix.
