I’m trying to access my Plex server from the PC that it is installed on. When I try to access it I get the plex logo and a spinning circle and the page just refreshes over and over again. I have tried multiple web browsers with the same result.
I have tried uninstalling plex and deleting \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Plex, Inc. then reinstalling the server with no change. I am unable to post logs because I can’t get into the server in the first place.
I have attached a screenshot of what I see in my web browser when I try to access the server.
Don’t use specially restricted web browsers like Brave.
Disable any web browser add-ins in regular browsers.
Disable VPNs.
See New Claiming Requirement for Windows
I’ve tried getting to the server on Opera, Firefox, and Edge, all with all addons disabled. I still get the same page where it just refreshes over and over again. I’ve tried using the Setup Plex.html file as shown in the page for new claiming requirement for windows and it still doesn’t work. I don’t have any VPN.
This was all working just fine until a few days ago when it just randomly stopped working for no reason. Is there some way I can delete everything about Plex so I can just start over?
Apparently even though I had Plex whitelisted in my antivirus it was still resetting the connection to the server over and over again. I turned off the antivirus and was able to access it again. Thanks for trying to help anyway.
