I’m using an LG 4K TV to remote stream a 4K copy of an episode of a series. Because my PMS only has 35Mbps upload speed, it is hw transcoding like so:
At around the 6-minute mark, the stream buffers and does not continue at all. After about 2 minutes of “buffering” the stream will stop and say “playback error” and “an unexpected playback problem occurred.”. If I exit out of the stream and resume the playback, it goes on again for a few minutes until the same problem occurs. If I start it from the beginning, it does the same problem at around 6 minutes again (I was able to recreate the issue at the 6:18 and 6:26 marks).
My PMS is more than capable of doing hw transcoding. When I turned on verbose, I get a an average transcode speed of 1.3/1.4 so that’s enough. Here are the debug logs:
The issue happened at around 11:15PM. Let me know if you guys need verbose logs.
