This was previously reported here w/o anyone from Plex looking into it. Can someone from Plex look into this issue?

I’ve found that when i’m watching a movie or tv episode, when i’m close to the very end of the media and i try to rewind, the android tv player freezes and all i can do is stop the player. It appears that the buffer has read to the end of the file but the player hasn’t played the entire video just yet so hitting rewind freezes the player because the server has stopped sending data to the player but the player is still playing.
