Adding a music track to a Track Collection removes that tracks disc number from Plex metadata
Refreshing metadata restores the missing disc number, but adding another track to the collection removes it again
I have been able to reproduce this behaviour in Plex Web 4.142.2 & in Plexamp 4.11.4
Do the track numbers vanish immediately upon adding the tracks to the collection? Or does it take some minutes/hours/days?
Do you have generally a large number of collections, or collections with a large number of items in them?
Happens immediately, and it’s disc numbers being lost, not track numbers.
Not very many collections (probably only about 20 in total) and only this 1 track collection
Here’s a pic showing the tracks that have lost the disc number in Plex web…
And also how it looks in Plexamp…
Enable server debug logs (NOT “verbose”),
Stop and restart server
Please recreate the issue,
then fetch server logs.
