Noticed there seems to be a issue with Chromecast Audio when streaming; once the music starts playing the album, song title and artist information stays stuck on the opening track even when the track changes. The progress bar continues and aligns with the current track being played however.
When streaming via either the phones speakers or via Bluetooth the bug doesn’t appear - only seems to effect Chromecast.
Just tried play a plex mix from my phone on chromecast and the track information is still remaining stuck on the first track.
Below are two screenshots. The music actually being played is the 2nd track on the list, but both the display and queue are stuck displaying the information from the first track and this is where is remains.
It’s working fine via computer browser therefore looks to be a bug in the android app - running 7.1.1.

I am experiencing the same problem when casting audio to a Google Home device but with an additional problem. When I ask Google Assistant to skip the track being played it informs me that there is nothing playing but the track will be skipped and the next track will play. However, Plex for Android will still remain stuck on the first track and any attempt to use the controls in Plex for Android such as skip will skip to the next track in the list and not the next track being played. When I view what is playing within the Google Home app it is informing correctly of the track that is currently playing.
Still broken Plex people…

Update… sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t, seems totally random and I can’t see any pattern to which ablum the tracks will show correctly or if it gets stuck displaying the first track it displayed. #frustrating
I experience this same behavior with my Google cast devices. It is incredibly frustrating to the point where I just never cast anything with Plex any more. Please fix.
Note 100% sure but I think the bug might be fixed - last few times I have been casting the right tracks have been showing!
Still not working right after a bit more testing sadly!
