If a show is
S1932E01 - Name of Episode.1932.mkv -
Plex will NOT pick it up unless you remove “1932” or change it to any year that is not in the title…so any other year than 1932.
Name of Episode.1933.mkv (will detect)

How is your folder arranged. The only way this should not get picked up is if the show is also called 1932. Since you do not have the name of the show before SxEx, PMS will look at the folder for the name of the show. So if you have D:\TV Shows\1932\S1932E01 - Name of Episode.1932.mkv, that won’t work.
How is this show named each of the episodes on TheTVDB? That’s what you should be trying to match your naming to, and not to what you seem to have. Info on naming can be found here: https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/200220687-Naming-Series-Season-Based-TV-Shows
This doesn’t seem like a bug in Plex’s matching as much as it is a naming issue on your end. Run the entire series through FileBot or TV Renamer and have it rename the files to a Plex Friendly name and I bet the mis-matches stop completely.

You can’t have that. PMS will think it’s the title. Call it Season 1932.
Why on earth would plex consider that the title of the show. It’s clearly under “Looney Tunes” - so why would it think there’s a Show inside of a show? strange
PMS is not expecting a folder in a folder, so it is getting confused.
