Server Version#: 1.13.7.5369 (Nvidia Shield)
I have tried converting several shows recorded using Plex DVR, using the “Optimized for TV” preset, and after apparently successfully chugging all the way up to 100% they then remain stuck as showing “Converting 100%” on the Conversions screen.
Is this with HW transcoding on or off? I’d be interested to see what happens if you change the setting. 
H/w transcoding is on - the default setting. I’ve not (yet) tried it with h/w transcoding off, since that’s likely to severely impact performance.
Given that h/w-accelerated transcoding is one of the Shield’s selling points, and given that Plex and Nvidia are supposed to be key partners, I would have thought that you’d have this sorted. But reading through the Forum, it seems this has never worked reliably.
What’s the status with supporting this properly on the Shield?
Well, first of all, I’d like to know if it works with hardware transcoding off. If it does, can you please provide a sample file? We have seen a few other examples of this, and it’s something we’re actively working on.
Nope, same problem with h/w transcoding off. So I guess it’s not a Shield h/w acceleration issue in this case (cue sound effect of me getting off my high horse).
