[BUG] DVR > What's On - Endless spinner (undefined)

Server Version#: 1.40.3.8555
Player Version#: 4.131.1 (hosted)

Every time I wanna see more info for a program or a show. The details page just shows a spinner, which never ends. When I look at the URL, I can see an undefined - which might be the cause of this?

This works on Plex for iOS and Plex for AppleTV. So it must be something specific to the Plex Web version I guess?

Please retrace what exactly you have clicked on.
I have tried to reproduce, but I cannot. But I also noticed that you have the term discover in your URL, which doesn’t appear in mine.

When i click on any of the titles or covers like ex. FIA WEC , it opens an empty details page, with a spinner - which never completes.

Are these OTA channels or delivered by plex.tv?

These are IPTV channels delivered by local Threadfin (fork of xTeVe)

Then I assume that the EPG data for these are delivered by XMLTV file?

That is correct. M3U and XMLTV guide data delivered by Threadfin.

Does the same happen in an “incognito” browser tab?

Yes, this also happens in incognito. I’ve been a webdev for 25 years, so i should know what to check for :stuck_out_tongue: Devtools doesn’t really show any error in console or an invalid request.

Hello

I can sadly confirm the issue using app.plex.tv, and will raise an internal issue

This was a fast fix thanks! Works on the section What's On Now…

Maybe a bit too fast though :face_savoring_food: Now the Recent Channels under What's On has no click action anymore on cover or on title (like previously).

Clicking anywhere outside the small play icon (green) in the middle of the cover does nothing now, even though it has a pointer cursor. Is the same when clicking the title below the cover.

UPDATE: Some of the titles (beneath the cover) has an underline on cursor hover (link clickable), others don’t … which is odd.

Sniff, du er ikke nem

Thanks for spotting what I missed when checking, and will raise internally

Hahhahha

Sadly after the fix, the behavior is now like the normal OTA, since this is channels, and as such do not have metadata.

But yes, there’s space for improvement

Thanks. That is fine with me. Was actually just something i noticed, and not something I use. I’ll mark this as Solution for now.
